Hai Phong Port Technical Services and Training JSC (HPTTS) and Sealand Equipment Group sign Memorandum of Understanding on port technology and technical services

On the afternoon of July 30, 2026, at the headquarters of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, Hai Phong Port Technical Services and Training JSC (HPTTS) and Sealand Equipment Group (SEALAND) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony.

The event marks the beginning of a cooperative relationship between the two enterprises, aiming to leverage the strengths of each party in the fields of port equipment, technical services, training, and technology transfer, meeting the modernization requirements of the seaport and logistics industry.

Strengthening cooperation in port equipment and technical services

The program was attended by representatives of the leadership of Hai Phong Port JSC, HPTTS, and relevant departments and units. On the side of SEALAND, Mr. Han Xiaolong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager of Sealand Equipment Group, attended along with representatives of member units and experts.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed capabilities, experience, and potential directions for implementation in the fields of handling equipment, maintenance, repair, technical services, and human resource development.

According to the Memorandum, HPTTS and SEALAND agreed to cooperate in the areas of supplying, upgrading, and maintaining handling equipment; human resource training; technology transfer; market development; digital transformation; automation; and green port development. The two sides will also coordinate to survey practical needs and research the application of new technologies in the operation, management, and maintenance of port equipment.

Sharing experience and technology transfer orientation

At the program, a representative of Hai Phong Port assessed that HPTTS establishing a cooperative relationship with SEALAND is a step in line with the orientation of expanding international cooperation, enhancing scientific and technological capacity, and gradually mastering modern technical solutions for port operations.

Hai Phong Port also aims to develop a technical service ecosystem to improve operational quality, optimize investment efficiency, and meet the increasingly high requirements of customers. In this, HPTTS plays an important role in technical activities, maintenance, equipment repair, and human resource training for the system.

SEALAND is ready to accompany the port modernization process

A representative of SEALAND, Mr. Han Xiaolong, stated that the group has over 60 years of experience in researching, manufacturing equipment, and providing technological solutions for the seaport industry. SEALAND is ready to share experience, transfer technology, and coordinate with HPTTS to develop modern technical solutions suitable for the needs of the Vietnamese market.

On the side of HPTTS, the enterprise is determined to proactively coordinate to implement the cooperation contents, prioritizing research on solutions for equipment upgrading, automation, human resource training, and high-quality technical service development.

Official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding

The highlight of the program was the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between HPTTS and Sealand Equipment Group.

The signing representatives included Mr. Le Manh Cuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of HPTTS and Mr. Han Xiaolong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager of Sealand Equipment Group.

The Memorandum creates a foundation for the two enterprises to gradually concretize cooperation programs on equipment, technology, technical services, and human resources, thereby supporting the innovation and modernization process of seaport operations.

Opening a new phase of cooperation

The signing of the MOU not only helps HPTTS expand its international cooperation network but also creates more opportunities to access technology, equipment, and experience in the field of seaport technical services.

Through the cooperative relationship with SEALAND, the two sides aim to implement specific programs on equipment upgrading, automation, technology transfer, and human resource training, contributing to improving operational capacity and promoting the process of digital transformation, modernization, and green development within the Hai Phong Port system.
